Before

The beds have undergone quite a few changes. The original planters were knocked down when the square was redeveloped in 2019/20. The photo shows the original beds with 'low maintenance' prickly shrubs and a small trees.

After

This photo shows the 'first incarnation' of our garden. Since the beds were removed and rebuilt, we have yet to bring it back into shape, but you can already see our work.

Longer-term plans

Water & workshops

Hoping to install some rainwater harvesting with local businesses.

The square would be perfect to run some workshops and crafts like tying lavender, woodruff and herb bunches, making wreaths or tying willow stars in winter.
